Week Four . . . C'est la vie and Mable and Moneta

In the final days of Me Made and, like near everyone else, I'm tired of the selfies.  So very tired.  I plug on though.  Surprisingly, I've made a considerable amount this month (see below), and . . . aside from being in a prolonged fight with the USPS and Girl Charlee over the location of my fabric and who is now responsible, I've had a good month on writing and sewing.  Need to get more writing done . . . but, my stress levels are calming down.  Perhaps because I have decided to take an hour and read a damned book everyday.  Perhaps.  Little things. Saturday: Another Archer . . . do not judge.  Archer number nine, this is.  I mean, look at that ribbon trim (with a hint of floral) and those glass buttons.  Oh yea, picking up a case of beer I lost a button.  Ha ha. RTW jeans, evil eye sandal from Bodrum, and the tiniest Coach I own.  Seriously, how is that even a purse? Sunday . . . Purple plaid thurlows...

A Year In Review

Well, I guess it has been nearly a year since I decided to see about not buying clothes and how much I could make.  I can say, with all honesty, that I have bought three cardigans, two pair of jeans, two plain tee shirts, some socks, knickers, and some running bras, pants, and two therma hoodies.  Beyond that. . . Mr Fairytale picked me up a vintage, handmade Wonder Woman tee at Artist and Flee months ago and a Feminist Mystique tee from The Strand last month.  Beyond that . . . well, my machine has been busy. Most of these you have seen, as I've blogged them here or on Instagram, but none-the-less it is still fun (and a little embarrassing) to go through the past year.  Little notes, through the snap shots, kind of pave the way for ya. Sleep Pants, Amy Butler with Alexander Henry Fabric A bag, I now keep ribbon in. The lining is remnants of some cotton I used for decorations at my wedding. A vintage, metal zipper keeps her closed.  Bro...
