1. What time did you get up this morning?
4am, when I woke up with a taste for whiskey.  No, I did not drink any as that be would alchoholic behavior. 

2. How do you like your steak?
Beef makes me sad, as I do not process the proteins.  So, the correct question is how do you like your veggie burger? Answer: cooked.

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
I went and saw _West Side Story_ in the park last week.

4. What is your favorite TV show?
Criminal Minds and Rissoli and Isles

5. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
Well, now that I am back in NYC I am pretty content.  Though, I still have Boston and Istanbul on the list of the ten year plan.

6. What did you have for breakfast?
A Marlboro Ultra Light and Cranberry juice (unsweetened).  Yes, the Lupus patient smokes.  Yes, she is fighting off a UTI because her health insurance doesn't start for awhile yet.

7. What is your favorite cuisine?
I am particularly fond of Turkish, except the fish. 

8. What foods do you dislike?
Green olives are little eyeballs of satan.  The foods I am allergic to.

9. Favorite Place to eat?
There's a Kumpir stand in Turkey that I adore.

10. Favorite dressing?
Ranch

11.What kind of vehicle do you drive?
2007 Ford Focus.  I call her Cherry Bomb. 

12. What are your favorite clothes?
Rolled jeans and a white beater.  I am classy, I know.

13. Where would you visit if you had the chance?
Turkey

14. Cup 1/2 empty or 1/2 full?
1/2 full.

15. Where would you want to retire?
Well, I would first need a steady income so that I could start to think about retirement. 

16. Favorite time of day?
Right between dusk and nightfall, it always seems that the city comes to a stand still for a few brief moments. 

17. Where were you born?
Fort Lewis, Washington, and it's now known as Joint Base Lewis-McCord.

18. What is your favorite sport to watch?
Baseball, and if you didn't already know that something is wrong with you.

19. What's your favorite drink?
Jack or Maker's.  I prefer my Jack on the rocks, unless I am up to no good.  Then, I drink it with Coke.  Never Jim, as I always forget that it makes me hurl.  Hence, last trip in Nawlins I forgot and drank Jim the last drink of the night one night.  I drink Maker's sparingly, because of college, and I only consume it when I've got a hankering for bourbon.

Oh, I bet that meant non-boozy drinks.  Diet Sun Drop and Diet Ale 8. 

20. What do you dream about?
The agent getting back to me.


21. Do you play the guitar?
Like a deranged loon.  :D True fact.

22. Bird watcher?
If you are talking about the birds from people's hands, then yes.

23. Are you a morning person or a night person?
Nighty, night.

24. Do you have any pets?
My roommates have a dog.  Does that count?

25. Any new and exciting news you'd like to share?
I headed the advice of peeps, and I sent a query letter for the manuscript.  What's that you say? I didn't tell you . . . well, I wanted you to be surprised.

26. What did you want to be when you were little?
Oddly, I think I always wanted to be a writer.  I have a very vivid memory of my kindergarten teacher having a coronary about it.  There are also those parochial school teachers . . . snort.

27. What is your best childhood memory?
My brother and I used to jump off the roof of the garage into the garden.  He was Wonder Woman and I was Batman.  :D

28. Are you a cat or dog person?
Dog

29. Are you married?
I am forever single.

30. Always wear your seat belt?
Yea, I've got issues of people dying. 

31. Been in a car accident?
That I have been. 

32. Any pet peeves?
I've got a few.  Misspelling my name for one. 

33. Favorite Pizza Toppings?
Fresh moz and basil

34. Favorite flowers?
  Daffodils and Lilacs.  How many of you just went "Holy shit, she is a girl!"?

35. Favorite ice cream?
Tofuti cheesecake

36. Favorite fast food restaurant?
I think fast food is the death of American culture.

37. Do you enjoying driving?
Not so much.  Hence, I live in NYC and only drive when I have to.


38. From whom did you get your last email?
One of my editors.

39. Which store would you choose to max out your credit card?
Delta for a flight and hotel to Istanbul. It's kind of a store.

40. Do anything spontaneous lately?
All the time.  Seriously.  I like my professional life to be calm and laid out (which it is NOT), but I live my life by the seat of my pants.  Speaking of which, my pants are getting loose and thin.

41. Like your job?
I do what I love, and I love what I do.

42. Broccoli?
I am anemic.  Broccoli is a green vegetable.  Guess how much of that, spinach, and other green ones I eat? Gah.

43. What was your favorite vacation?
Istanbul, alone, in December 2008.  Tanfer did come in for two days.  I do so well in that city. 

44. Last person you went out to dinner with?
Dinner? Oh dear . . . Does Leigh's wedding count? How about eating at the ballpark with Burberry in May? I've been to lunch once or twice, but dinner . . .

45. What are you listening to right now?
Lifehouse, the sound of my typing, the couple fighting (again) on the street, and my roommates war movie. 

46. What is your favorite color?
purple

47. How many tattoos do you have?
One, sadly.  I still need to get that second one.

48. What is your favorite time of year?
Mmmm.  Last year I had to remember Autumn in New York.  This year I will be, once again, living Autumn in New York.

49. What time is it?
8:08pm

50. Coffee Drinker?
Less and less these days.  There was a time I drank twelve cups a day, and clearly I do not need to be reminded of a my heart palpitations coming to light and the ulcers.  Yea, I even scarred myself that time.
